Province Confirms 441 New Cases of COVID-19 This Morning

The Province of Ontario confirmed 441 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 28 additional deaths. Meanwhile another 258 people have made a full recovery.

ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 441 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.8% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 24,628.  

The Province also confirmed another 28 deaths bringing the total to 2,021 and 1,262 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 258 people have recovered from the virus bringing the total number of resolved cases to 18,767. 

4,711 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,623 cases are from health care workers. 

We currently have 961 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 153 are in the ICU and 120 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province only completed 11,276 tests yesterday.
