The Province confirmed another 446 cases of COVID-19 this morning and 17 more deaths. Meanwhile another 331 patients have made a full recovery.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 446 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.6% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 28,706.
The Province also confirmed another 17 deaths bringing the total to 2,293 and 1,465 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 331 people have made a full recovery bringing the total number of resolved cases now sits at 22,484.
5,158 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,825 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 801 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 125 are in the ICU and 87 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 15,244 tests yesterday.
