We currently have 4,975 active cases of the virus in Ontario after the Province confirmed 538 new cases this morning and 515 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 538 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 52,248.
The Province also confirmed 3 new COVID-19 related deaths today and the total sits at 2,851. Meanwhile another 515 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 44,442.
The province completed 39,646 tests yesterday. Over half of the new cases come from four regions in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa and York Region.
We currently have 162 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 36 are in the ICU.
