We currently have 5,946 active cases of the virus in Ontario after the Province confirmed 746 new cases this morning and 624 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 746 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 60,692.
The Province confirmed 9 new deaths related to the virus this morning and the total now sits at 3,017. Meanwhile another 624 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 51,729.
The province completed 31,233 tests yesterday. Over half of the new cases come from four regions in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa and York Region.
We currently have 230 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 60 are in the ICU.
