We currently have 6,237 active cases of the virus in Ontario after the Province confirmed 821 today and 628 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 821 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 65,896.
The Province reported 3 new deaths related to COVID-19 today and the total now sits at 3,053. Meanwhile another 628 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 56,606.
The province completed 24,049 tests yesterday. Over half of the new cases come from four regions in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa and York Region.
We currently have 274 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 72 are in the ICU.
