The Friendly City is looking at creating a trail around Pittock to Innerkip Road and on both sides of the Thames River to Highway 2
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is hosting a public meeting on land management tonight.
They want to discuss the potential of expanding the trail systems in the Friendly City with an ultimate goal of creating an actual loop around Pittock to Innerkip Road and on both sides of the Thames River to Highway 2. Director of Parks and Recreation Brian Connors tells Heart FM about one of the things they are looking at doing.
"We are also looking at putting a pedestrian access over the dam so that the south shore and the Pittock Conservation day use area could kind of be put together."
The public meeting is happening at the community complex from 6-7:30 p.m. at the meeting room which is right beside the gymnastics area.
