PWHL - The Professional Women's Hockey League will have another new team when the 2026-27 season begins.
Detroit, Las Vegas, and Hamilton were announced to join the league as expansion teams over the last month. PWHL Detroit was announced as the first expansion team back on May 6th, while PWHL Las Vegas and PWHL Hamilton were announced as new organizations on May 16th.
San Jose is the latest team to be introduced and will play its home games at SAP Arena, the home of the San Jose Sharks. The training arena will be at Sharks Ice.
