TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP seized multiple drugs after executing a search warrant at a home in Tillsonburg.
The Oxford Branch Street Crime Unit arrested a Tillsonburg man after an investigation on Queen Street, where they found a quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone, along with stolen property.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says members of the community who have information are encouraged to contact OPP.
"If you know of someone that's in your community dealing illicit drugs, we need to know about that. And as a result of this information that we've followed up on, and from our dedicated officers from the Street Crime Unit, we came here, knocked on the door, kicked it in and arrested a male."
32 year-old Shawn Allen Robertson is facing the following charges:
- Possession of fentanyl
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of hydromorphone
- Possession of property obtained by crime of under $5,000.00
Sanchuk says it's only a matter of time before others are caught.
"He is facing several charges, he will have his day in court, but we need people and police to work together. And I've told people time and time again, there's nothing that we can't solve if the community, police and media members work together."
The man is expected to appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
