WOODSTOCK - One Woodstock girl is raising money for epilepsy by holding a lemonade stand tomorrow.
Hailey VanBemmel will have a lemonade sale outside of her home, and her family will also be having a yard sale.
Her mother Christa says her daughter has lived with epilepsy for two and a half years.
"She's super excited. She's a very giving person as it is and it was kind of her idea, her and her older sister to just kind of say ' let's do this. What can we do to raise money?' So they're pretty excited about it."
Proceeds will be going towards the Epilepsy Foundation Southwestern Ontario.
VanBemmel adds the foundation has been instrumental in helping her family.
She says tomorrow's event is a great cause to be a part of.
"I think that there's always struggles in the community with different illnesses that maybe we don't always know about, and I think that probably Epilepsy is something that we kind of know people have, but we don't really know the struggles that go on behind the scenes."
Hailey Vanbemmel's family is having a yard sale at their home on 672 Gladstone Drive tomorrow morning.
She adds the items in the yard sale will be priced but the lemonade and cookies, which was made by her neighbours, will be all for donation.
The event will go from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
