The Realtors Care Food Drive in Woodstock and Ingersoll was a smashing success raising over 18,500 pounds of food for our local food banks. President of the Woodstock-Ingersoll Real Estate Board William Cattle says over 150 volunteers helped put this event together doing things like delivering flyers several days before the food drive, they were involved in the pickup in all of the food donations and helped with the sorting at the local food banks. He adds the generosity from our communities is amazing and it is estimated that the food raised in Woodstock alone will keep their shelves stocked for the next 5 months. All of the food donated is given to the local food banks and distributed to the people in our community who really need. The real Estate Board has been doing the Food Drive for 5 years now and has raised over 75,000 pounds of food in that time. Cattle says this is something he sees the Association doing every year and wanted to thank all of the volunteers who worked very hard to make this day possible.
