It is the 15th annual Realtors Care Food Drive put on by the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors.
OXFORD - Lots of local realtors will be hitting the streets with their friends and family for the 15th annual Realtors Care Food Drive.
They will be going door-to-door collecting donations in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Sweaburg, Embro and Innerkip after 6:00 p.m. today. If you found a yellow and red door hanger on your front door recently, they will be in your neighbourhood.
The event is hosted by the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors. Member Jessica Quesnel says they're looking for donations for the local food banks.
"We are looking for any canned goods, Kraft Dinner, diapers, or anything that is non-perishable that would benefit."
She adds that you barely have to do anything to support the cause.
"Just have them on your front porch, and as soon as we see them on the front porch, we will come around to pick them up."
The Realtors Care Food Drive is always held on the first Wednesday in May, and it has collected about 232,303 pounds of food to date.
