The Woodstock Ingersoll and District Real Estate Board is getting ready for the 7th annual Realtors Care Food Drive.
INGERSOLL /WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Ingersoll and District Real Estate Board is gearing up for the 7th annual Realtors Care Food Drive.
Realtor Kelly Byers tells Heart FM why they like to do this food drive in the Spring.
"Spring time is really hard for the Salvation Army food banks. They get a little bit low on donations after Thanksgiving and Christmas, so we started doing this food drive 7 years ago to help them stock up for the summer months."
Volunteers deliver bags and flyers to front doors in Woodstock and Ingersoll. The flyers will ask you to fill the bags with food donations and leave them on your front porch on Wednesday May 3rd and the realtors will come by and pick them up. Any food donation would be greatly appreciated and they are also looking for volunteers to help them distribute bags and flyers and pick up the food on May 3rd.
