High school students have made big strides to help the United Way Oxford raising over $35,000
WOODSTOCK - The Student Stair Climb was another huge - and very loud - success.
Over 1,350 students from different schools came together at the Woodstock and District Community Complex to raise money for the United Way.
This year was the best year yet with a grand preliminary total of $35, 314.
Campaign Chair Megan Porter says its amazing to see how much these young people care.
"It's been a great day - you get so much energy from being at an event like this one. Each year when I come I am always overwhelmed by the spirit of all the students."
The top three fundraisers come from IDCI, WCI, and Huron Park.
The overall top school was, once again, IDCI.
