The 30 person bike will be at the Indigo Lounge in Tillsonburg on May 28th.
TILLSONBURG - A MEGABike is riding it's way into Tillsonburg.
On Wednesday May 28th the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County (BBBS Oxford) will be hosting the fundraiser at the Indigo Lounge.
Fund Development Manager, Nicole Killaire says the bike holds 29 people plus an instructor.
"It is a giant bike. Thirty people fit on it and we have a number of opportunities to get involved whether you're one person or a small group a large group. You can rent either the full bike, half bike, quarter bike or join us as a single rider."
They are hoping to raise $40,000 through the event. Fundraisers like this help support their free youth mentoring programs offered in Tillsonburg and throughout Oxford County.
All though the bike can be rented to single riders, Killaire says it's a great opportunity for local businesses to support BBBS Oxford.
"This is also a great opportunity for corporations to support the event through sponsorship and depending on the level of sponsorship, you also get a full bike of riders or half bike of riders. So those options are all on our website as well."
Tax receipts will be issued for all donations of $20 or more.
Information and registration can be found on the BBBS Oxford website.
