It's happening at the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association pond on Sunday, May 26th.
WOODSTOCK - The popular Kids and Cops fishing day is coming back to Woodstock.
Woodstock Police in partnership with the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association and the Kids, Cops, and Canadian Tire Program will be hosting the event scheduled for Sunday, May 26th. The event will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association pond and each child will have to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their participation.
Spots will be filled on a first come first served basis, and registration forms can be filled out on the Woodstock Police website. Once the form is filled out, you can send it via email to communityservice@woodstockpolice.ca.
The event has been made possible by the support of the Canadian National Sportfishing Foundation, which is a not-for-profit organization that has the goal of promoting and protecting recreational fishing for all Canadians, along with the generous financial donation from Canadian Tire.
