The Ingersoll 50+ Centre will be hosting a virtual Active Living Fair next month and registration is open to all ages.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll 50+ Centre is hosting a virtual Active Living Fair.
Centre Coordinator Kristi Oegma says each morning will feature different workshops.
"It will run over three mornings and we will have two workshops each morning on a variety of different topics. So for instance on March 8th, we have a workshop on managing and understanding stress and anxiety and we also have a workshop on understanding the Ontario new personal income tax program."
The active living fair runs from March 8th to March 10th. Oegma says it's free to join and everyone is invited, regardless of age.
"So people can log into their Zoom link and have a presenter present on any of our topics and it is all free of charge. Anyone who registers can also get a grab bag from the Centre."
Other topics include Chair Cardio Fitness Demonstration, Technology Communication Aids and Strategies with Amplifon on Wednesday the 9th.
Then on Thursday March 10th they have Learn How Shared Living Works with Senior Women Living Together and Dancing at Every Age with Canada's National Ballet School.
You can register by calling the centre at 519-485-3869 or email info@ingersollseniors.com.
