A search through a burned-down century-old home in rural Blandford-Blenheim will begin later today. The house on Township Road 12 went up in flames at around 11AM yesterday. An elderly couple that reportedly live in the home have not been heard from. There was also a vehicle in the driveway at the time of the blaze. It took 40 firefighters from across the township and Woodstock to knock down the blaze, which eventually collapsed the roof of the home. The Ontario Fire Marshall is now on the scene, and will begin to search through the ruins today for a possible cause.
