The Robert Q Airbus is currently operating seven trips to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport each day.
WOODSTOCK/LONDON - Now that the world is starting to open back up again, lots of people are planning a vacation getaway.
The Robert Q Airbus is a service which transports travellers in Woodstock and London to and from Toronto's Pearson International Airport. The pick-up and drop off location in Woodstock is at the Quality Inn Hotel and Suites.
Operations Manager Helen Wheeler says says they have seen an increase in business over the past few months.
"Pre-pandemic levels we would transfer at least 10,000 passengers monthly. We're now somewhere in the neighbourhood of 5,400 or 5,500 in the last couple of months."
She adds the Robert Q Airbus was hit hard by the pandemic, but it's starting to bounce back.
"Pre-pandemic we would have had maybe 11 or 12 trips daily between London and Toronto. We currently are operating seven and our numbers are still on the incline of trying to get back to what we did pre-pandemic."
Wheeler says those thinking about taking the Robert Q Airbus should take note of the time they should be arriving at the airport when they book their ride. She recommends travellers arrive at least three hours before their departure because there have been some processing delays at the Toronto airport over the past few weeks.
