The Mayor of Southwest Oxford is running for re-election.
SOUTHWEST OXFORD - A familiar face is running for Mayor in Southwest Oxford.
Mayor David Mayberry is running for re-election in the Fall.
Mayberry says his leadership is about the future.
"Politically I would say my greatest ambition I think is always about envisioning a better future for our communities and how do we get there."
He has served two terms as Mayor of Southwest Oxford.
Mayberry says there is much on the horizon.
"Locally lots of things are on the go. Commissioning the emergency services building in Beachville. Doing a reassessment of what do we want our roads and infrastructure to look like in the long term."
On top of Mayor, Mayberry also serves as Warden of Oxford County Council.
