20 year old arrested by OPP during break and enter
PERTH EAST - Another theft has taken place in Shakespeare.
On August 3, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter at a business located on Line 34.
After a motion alarm was set off by the business's security system, police were alerted and were able to track and arrest a male leaving the area with stolen property from the business.
The male is a 20-year-old resident of Perth South, and he has been arrested and charged with numerous offences, including:
- Break, Enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 - in Canada
- Obstruct Peace Officer
- Resist Peace Officer
- Assault A Peace Officer with a weapon
