STRATFORD - A senior citizen has been charged with careless driving after a fatal crash in Stratford claimed the life of a 16 year old teenager.
OPP say the 77 year old man from West Perth had crossed the centre line while traveling south bound on Road 10 causing the crash with the motorcyclist. 16 year old Jeremy Wickenheiser from the Township of East Perth was declared deceased at the scene. The crash happened yesterday around 11 a.m. near the Stratford Municipal Airport. OPP say the senior was also hurt in the collision and was taken to a local area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
