Three Seniors Centres in Oxford County are set to receive funding from the provincial government.
OXFORD COUNTY - The province is supporting Seniors Active Living Centres in Oxford.
The third quarterly installment payment for this fiscal year is $41,250 and will be invested in South Gate Centre, Tillsonburg Senior Centre, and Ingersoll Services for Seniors. Each organization will get $13,750. Oxford County MPP Ernie Hardeman says the investment will benefit programs across the County.
"Today’s investment shows our continued support for seniors in Oxford. Seniors Active Living Centres bring our seniors together in Woodstock, Tillsonburg and Ingersoll, keeping our seniors fit, active, healthy, socially connected and close to their homes."
The money will fund in-person and virtual programs that help seniors and older adults aged 55 and older stay fit, healthy, active, and socially connected to their communities.
