Service Charges for By-Mail Billing?

The N-D-P says making people "pay to pay'' isn't fair and needs to be stopped. M-P Andrew Cash is trying to convince the Harper government to ban companies from charging customers as much as two-dollars to send their monthly bill in the mail. Cash calls it a new fee for an old service and says it unfairly target seniors, already-struggling families and people who don't have regular Internet access. The Canadian Association of Retired Persons has received hundreds of complaints and wants firms to either reverse the charges or offer exemptions for vulnerable people.
