There is a severe thunderstorm watch and a heat warning in effect for Oxford and Brant County.

There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for the counties of Oxford and Brant.

According to Environment Canada severe thunderstorm watches are issued when weather conditions can form thunderstorms along with harsh winds and rainfall. It is recommended that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.

A heat warning is also still in effect Oxford and Brant.
