Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for the Region

Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Counties of Brant and Oxford.

The current forecast is calling for the potential of a sever thunderstorm this afternoon with strong winds. People in the region are being reminded to be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and to take the necessary precautions.

Environment Canada is reminding everyone that Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
