Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the counties of Oxford, Brant, Middlesex and Perth.

According to Environment Canada, the storm system could also bring heavy rain and winds gusting up to 90km per hour as it moves east throughout the region. Very strong winds can damage buildings, down trees and even blow vehicles off the road.
Make sure you keep an eye on the weather conditions and remember, when thunder roars head indoors!
Update (7:35am) - Environment Canada has upgraded the severe thunderstorm watch to a warning. Meteorologists say we can expect near 50mm of rain in an hour. We might also be in for nickel sized hail.
