Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms today that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
UPDATE: Environment Canada has upgraded the Severe Thunderstorm Watch to a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. Severe weather is already happening in Stratford and making it's way to Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the region.
Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms today that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. After an initial round of scattered thunderstorms this morning, additional thunderstorms are forecast to develop this afternoon into this evening. The biggest threats from these thunderstorms will be strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
