Oxford County's Ella Shelton will suit up for Team Canada once again during the 2022 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Denmark.
FOLDENS - She's about to represent Foldens on the world stage once again.
Oxford County's very own Ella Shelton has been named a member of the Canadian women's hockey team for the upcoming IIHF Women’s World Championship. The Canadian roster also includes Marie-Philip Poulin as team captain.
Poulin and Shelton helped win the gold medal for Team Canada at the Beijing Olympics earlier this year. They also helped Canada win the gold medal at the 2021 Women’s World Championship in Calgary.
The 2022 IIHF Women’s World Championship will be taking place in Demark from August 14th to September 4th.
