The Chair of Annandale's P-T-A is looking to to make a difference in the Tillsonburg Community.
TILLSONBURG - A Tillsonburg mother is looking to secure a council seat.
Kim Sage was born and raised on a tobacco farm just outside of the town. She decided to move back to the area after attending school.
She is currently the Chair of Annandale's Parent Council and the PTA.
Sage explains why she decided throw her hat in the municipal election ring.
"I've always found it very interesting and I want to help be a voice that will make a difference."
Sage has a big to-do list if she is voted in next month.
"I would like to be able to see the poverty addressed and the systems available out there to families be addressed."
She would also like to improve the communication between local residents and the community police.
Tillsonburg residents will head to the polls on October 22nd.
