Police say a vehicle left the road, went airborne, and hit a pole this morning.
TILLSONBURG - One person has been taken to hospital with undetermined injuries after a single vehicle crash on Highway 19, just outside of Tillsonburg.
OPP officers were called out to the scene shortly after 5:30 a.m. today, after a vehicle left the road, went airborne and collided with a pole.
In a video posted on the OPP West Region X page, Sergeant Ed Sanchuk said police have closed the Highway 19 between Ostrander Road and Airport Road.
"Right now Highway 19 is anticipated to be closed for the next one to two hours while we continue to investigate and while we wait for an update on the injuries associated with this driver. That could definetly change if that driver has serious injuries."
He also thanked the good samaritans that stopped to provide assistance.
Anyone with information regarding this crash should call the Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You can also submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
