The Woodstock Police Traffic Unit observed 440 vehicles during a stop sign blitz on Wednesday and officers issued six tickets and two warnings by the end of the day.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police issued six tickets and two warnings during stop-sign blitz earlier this week.
Officers monitored several all-way stops, stop signs and traffic lights throughout the Friendly City on Wednesday. The observed 440 vehicles by the end of the day.
The Traffic Unit has received several complaints about drivers not stopping properly at stop signs, all-way stops and traffic lights.
