OPP have already responded to several collisions, rollovers and vehicles in the ditch this morning.
WOODSTOCK - The OPP and Woodstock Police are reminding drivers to slow down and drive to the conditions today.
Already they have received several reports of minor collisions and several vehicles in the ditch. The biggest crash this morning happened at the 403 split in Woodstock which involved a jackknifed tractor trailer. We have not heard any reports of serious injuries at this time. We also had a tractor trailer rollover on Towerline Road and Highway 53 in Norwich Township. Another transport rollover on Road 92 and 41st line will have to stay in the ditch because it is not safe to be towed at this time. The truck has been moved to the ditch so traffic can get through.
Police are reminding everyone to slow down, pay attention to the road and give yourself plenty of space on the roads tonight and tomorrow.
Current conditions in Oxford are very slippery and they could get worse if the freezing rain starts up again. We still have a freezing rain warning in effect and the conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout the day.
