It wasn't like taking candy from a baby when it came to stealing from Foodland. Woodstock Police say on Tuesday, store security spotted a man hiding some candy in his coat. He was arrested by security outside the store, but the suspect put up a struggle and broke free. He was re-arrested nearby on Kent St., where police arrived to help in the arrest. 25-year-old Leo Belmore is charged with theft, assault with intent to resist arrest, escaping lawful custody and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
