Southwestern Public Health Confirms 13 New Cases of COVID-19 Over the Long Weekend

The active case count for the SWPH region has jumped up to 31, after 13 new cases were confirmed over the long weekend and just 2 resolved cases.

OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 13 new cases of COVID-19 from the long weekend and just 2 resolved cases. 

This means our active case count for the region is back up to 31. You can find a complete breakdown of the numbers below: 

Woodstock - 14

Blandford-Blenheim - 6

St. Thomas - 8

West Elgin - 2

Southwold - 1 

Currently one person is in the hospital with COVID-19 in the SWPH region. Over 80% of the adult population 18+ in the SWPH region have received at least one dose of the vaccine and over 63 percent of the adult population in the region have received two doses.
