OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 19 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 19 resolved cases.
The active case count for SWPH region is 141 and you can find the complete break down below;

Norwich Township - 3
South-West Oxford - 3
Zorra Township - 1
St. Thomas - 27
Aylmer - 8
Dutton-Dunwich - 6

Bayham - 5
West Elgin - 2
Malahide - 1
Nine people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and two of those patients are in the ICU. This data only reflects SWPH patients and is not an indicator of our local hospital capacity. It is a reflection of how many people locally had a sever enough illness from COVID-19 to end up in the hospital or ICU.
The outbreak at the Caressant Care Bonnie Place in St. Thomas is over.
