The active case count in SWPH region has dropped to 124 after 36 new cases were confirmed this weekend and 50 resolved cases.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 36 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend and 50 resolved cases.

Norwich Township - 4
East Zorra-Tavistock - 4
South-West Oxford - 2
St. Thomas - 19

West Elgin - 4
Bayham - 4
Dutton/Dunwich - 1
Six people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and three of those patients are in the ICU.
An Outbreak has been declared at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock and the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
Caressant Care has 4 residents and 6 staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19, meanwhile 15 patients and 5 staff members at the hospital have tested positive. Two people have died during the recent outbreaks, including a patient at TDMH and a resident at Caressant Care.
