The health Unit is reporting 40 new cases of the virus today and 21 recoveries and 2 additional deaths of residents at Maple Manor in Tillsonburg.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health has confirmed 40 new cases of the virus today, 21 recoveries and 2 additional deaths.
Both of the deaths confirmed today were residents of Maple Manor in Tillsonburg. They include an 82 year old man and a 96 year old man, who were residents at the Long Term Care Home. A total of 13 residents have now passed away at Maple Manor.
We currently have 16 people in the hospital with the virus, including 3 in the ICU. The Health Unit is reporting 362 active cases with most of them in Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Norwich Township, Aylmer and St. Thomas. Here is the breakdown of the locations according to Southwestern Public Health:

Goodness Retirement Living/St. Thomas - 0 resident cases, 1 staff case and 0 deaths
Carressant Care Bonnie Place/St. Thomas - 1 resident case, 0 staff cases and 0 deaths
Woodingford Lodge/Woodstock site - 2 resident cases, 2 staff cases, 0 deaths
PeopleCare/Tavistock - 40 resident cases, 32 staff cases, 0 deaths
