Southwestern Public Health Confirms 5 new Cases of COVID-19 Today

SWPH has reported it's first COVID-19 death in over a month, the deceased is a woman in her 80's from Oxford County.

OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health Region is reporting 5 new cases of COVID-19 today and 4 resolved cases.

The Health Unit has also reported it's first COVID-19 death in over a month. The deceased is a female, in her 80s, from Oxford County.

The active case count for the region now sits at 25. You can find a complete breakdown of the numbers below: 

Ingersoll - 6

Tillsonburg - 4

Woodstock - 2

South-West Oxford - 1

Blandford-Blenheim - 1

St. Thomas - 8

Aylmer - 1

Dutton-Dunwich - 1 

Currently nobody is in the hospital with COVID-19 in the SWPH region. Over 81% of population 12+ in the SWPH region have received at least one dose of the vaccine and over 75 percent are double dosed.
