Speaker Series Shares Initiatives

Wednesday, 28 March 2018 at 05:19

Future Oxford is bringing their speaker series across the County.

TAVISTOCK - The Future Oxford Speaker Series will continue with a stop Thamesford this month.

They will be at the Thamesford Public Library on Tuesday April 10th with a drop in session at 6pm and a presentation at 7pm. Manager of Strategic Initiatives Jay Heaman says they will educate the public about green projects.

"I'll be hosting a discussion and we will have some others there to talk specifically about some of the Green Ontario Fund programs, but we will talking about the Green Ontario fund, and some of the electric vehicle programs."

Heaman says they have doing these sessions all across Oxford County.

"The speaker series is an initiative through Future Oxford, through the partnership and sustainability plan. The idea is to get out into the community, primarily through the Oxford County library network and share different initiatives through the sustainability plan."
