Environment Canada is predicting wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour for this afternoon.
OXFORD/BRANT - It's going to be a windy day in the Friendly City.
Environment Canada says we could be in for northwesterly wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour today. They should start early this afternoon and start to weaken throughout the evening.
Strong winds can easily toss around loose objects and break tree branches. They could also cause power outages.
A special weather statement has been issued for Oxford and Brant.
