You could say she is in hot 'lava'. 24 year-old Ingersoll resident Beth Lava was clocked by Woodstock Police doing 144 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone on Dundas Street in the east end of the city Tuesday evening. Police say Lava would not cooperate with their requests which ended up leading to a number of charges including Failing to Provide a Sample, Racing A Motor Vehicle, Failing to Notify Change of Address and Failing to Surrender a Valid Insurance Card. Her car has been impounded for 7 days. Lava will answer to the charges in court on June 5th.
