Oxford OPP were able to track down four men who fled the scene of an accident involving a stolen mustang.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Oxford OPP were able to track down four men who fled the scene of a crash on Highway 401 westbound near Foldens Line this morning.
Police say a silver Ford Mustang was heading westbound on the 401 near the OnRoute when it left the roadway and ended up in a ditch. The male driver and three passengers refused the help of a few good Samaritans who stopped to help.
Prior to arriving on the scene, the OPP were notified that the men had taken off on foot. It was quickly discovered that the Mustang had been stolen from London overnight.
Police set up containment in the area and all four men were arrested in the area of Foldens Line, Clarke Road and Highway 401 earlier this afternoon.
The OPP would like to thank all those members of the public who stopped and assisted with the incident.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
