Perth County OPP handed out 41 tickets during their Stop and Look campaign last week.
PERTH COUNTY - Perth County OPP have released the results from their Stop and Listen Campaign. Officers issued 41 stop sign charges earlier this month.
Perth OPP started the campaign when they noticed more collisions occurring due to drivers failing to stop for the big red signs. Constable Michael Melnychuk says ALL vehicles have to stop.
"Whether you're driving a horse and buggy, a bicycle or a car you have to come to a complete stop at a stop sign."
Failing to completely stop could lead to a $105 fine if officers charge you with Failing to Yield to Traffic on a Through Highway under the Highway Traffic Act.
