WOODSTOCK - The annual Woodstock Streetfest is returning to the downtown area.
You can experience many businesses from Woodstock on Friday July 21st and Saturday July 22nd with live music playing all day and the annual Streetfest cruise presented by South Gate Centre on Sunday July 23rd.
This isn't just an event for adults though, there will also be a kid's zone filled with various fun activities like games, inflatables, and even touch a truck.
Business Operations Manager for the Downtown Woodstock BIA, Duane Kumala-Thomas on the impact of the downtown construction.
"If you've been in the city, you've noticed the construction is an issue. Normally we go beyond Wellington, but in order to accommodate that, we're gonna stop at Wellington Street. We're gonna bring the festivities down around Museum Square, so going over to Finkle Street. It'll be a different change in the mapping and landscape, but I think it'll be a nice change."
The festivities will start at 10:00 a.m. with various market vendors and will end at 9:00 p.m. with live music. You can visit the Downtown Woodstock BIA website for more information.
Kumala-Thomas stopped by the Heart FM studio for an interview with Kaitlin and Marcie on Tuesday July 11th. You can listen to the full interview below:
