The Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic and Oxford County Community Health Centre are teaming up for Suit Up.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Health Centre and Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic are making students graduating to Suit Up!
The 2 organizations are teaming up for the first time to help teens in need with their graduations and proms. They are now accepting donations such as: suits, dress pants, shirts, ties and shoes for all sizes. Stephanie Nevins is the Manager at Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic says that the boys need help suiting up for proms as well.
"What about the boys and the boys in need that attend these events. So maybe we should start collecting suits for them and dress pants for them."
Nevins also said that they don't currently have a location for fittings.
"We are collecting material items as well as monetary donations and as soon as we have an idea of when prom dates are happening in the community. So we are just determining right now when we when we want to set up that fitting location and the actual pick up date."
You can donate to grade 8's and 12's graduations at 19 King Street East in Ingersoll, at the Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic. Arrangements for pick up can also be made by e-mailing: snevins@ingersollnplc.ca or aboesterd@oxchc.ca.
