Swiffer is donating $1 to Habitat for Humanity for every purchase made at the ReStore leading up to Halloween.
WOODSTOCK - Every purchase at the ReStore in Woodstock will help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.
Swiffer is donating $1 for every ReStore transaction until Halloween. They also have a contest with a grand prize of $10,000 which will be used to help support a local build. Volunteer Catherine Stewart is trying to win the money for Woodstock and has created a number of videos featuring the cleaning product.
"One video had the Woodstock Co-Operative dance school create a routine and I managed to use that footage in three different videos and it's quite cute, whether it be a duster or a broom and another one has Jerry Acchione who works at Andersons dusting a cherry red car and it is quite a lovely video. We have one of a baby, a cute little baby in a bouncer and she's got a Swiffer and she is just swinging that for all the world to see."
