OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health is going to start booking adults 55+ for vaccine appointments on Friday.
The Province recently announced they will start booking 55+ today on the Provincial portals. Southwestern Public Health uses their own system with the London-Middlesex Health Unit and they don't always align with the Provincial announcements.
SWPH announced this afternoon that adults 55 and older can book a COVID-19 appointment in our region starting at 8:00 am on Friday April 30th.
You can learn more about eligibility online here.
SWPH has also created the COVID-19 Vaccination Help List. They have team members are ready and willing to help anyone in our community 60+ in booking a COVID-19 appointment.
If you call them today, there is a very good chance you will have a COVID-19 vaccine appointment ready to go as soon as possible. You can fill out a help list form online here at https://forms.swpublichealth.ca/COVID-19-Help-List.
You can also give them a call and leave a detailed message at 1-800-922-0096 x 9 and a member of the team will add them to the list.
