The Tavistock Midget A's boys fastball team are on their way to the Canadian Championships. The boys were in Napanee over the weekend where they went 3-and-2 at the tournament, beating Napanee 5-4, Kitchener 9-7 and Pickering 7-5. The A's lost 10-6 in extra innings to Teeswater and 11-5 to Port Perry. The team, consisting of boys from Tavistock and surrounding areas are travelling to Quebec for the championships from August 5-11, 2013 to represent Ontario along with Teeswater and Port Perry.
