Tillsonburg Memorial is only accepting admissions to critical care after 10 patients and 4 staff members tested positive for COVID-19. One person has died since the outbreak was declared on Wednesday.
TILLSONBURG - Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is no longer accepting admissions to all units accept Critical Care because of a COVID-19 outbreak.
To date, 10 patients and 4 staff members at the hospital have tested positive for COVID-19. One death was reported Friday related to the outbreak.
The hospital is working with the Health Unit to contain the outbreak. Enhanced safety and cleaning measures are being done.
The outbreak was first declared on Wednesday in the 2 south inpatient unit and has expanded to the 2 North inpatient unit.
