A teenager from Stratford is recovering from his injuries after being hit on Erie Street, late Monday afternoon.
STRATFORD - A teenager from Stratford is recovering from his injuries after being hit on Erie Street, late Monday afternoon.
Witnesses say the teen had run out into traffic, crossing Erie Street, when he was hit by a white Cadillac Escalade, which was being driven by a 75 year old man. The pedestrian was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital in Stratford by an ambulance. The teen was then transferred to the Victoria Hospital in London, where he is currently being treated for non life threatening injuries.
No charges will be laid as a result of this incident and the Stratford Police would like to thank all witnesses on scene for their assistance in this matter.
